So the Danish Imam has been punked and shown not just to be a demagogue, but also a very bad counterfeiter. But hey, he got away with it for a while, didn't he? Or at least in that art of the world in which he operates. No thanks to the Paper of Record.
Meanwhile, another frothing lunatic, this one the Ayatollah Khamenei, who should be immortalized in cartoon form much more than he is, now reveals that the prophetic cartoons from Denmark were of course the work of the Zionists.
But at least there are a few putative Muslims still around to call out the Mullahs and all their minions. Ayaan Hirsi Ali:
Not a day passes, in Europe and elsewhere, when radical imams aren't preaching hatred in their mosques. They call Jews and Christians inferior, and we say they're just exercising their freedom of speech. When will the Europeans realize that the Islamists don't allow their critics the same right? After the West prostrates itself, they'll be more than happy to say that Allah has made the infidels spineless.
...The doctrine stating that the faith is inalterable because the Koran was dictated by God must be replaced. Muslims must realize that it was human beings who wrote the holy scriptures. After all, most Christians don't believe in hell, in the angels or in the earth having been created in six days. They now see these things as symbolic stories, but they still remain true to their faith.
Of course, many would say that Ali is not a Muslim.
Also from Fouad Ajami:
Hitherto, we had granted the Arab world absolution from the laws of historical improvement. We had ceded it a crippling "exceptionalism." We explained away our complicity in its historical decay as the price paid for access to its oil, and as the indulgence owed some immutable "Islamic" tradition. To be fair, we could not find our way to its politically literate classes, for they were given to a defective political tradition. American power now ventures into uncharted territory; we have shaken up that world, and broken the pact with tyranny. In the shadow of American power, ordinary men and women who had known nothing but the caprice of rulers and the charlatanism of intellectual classes have gone out to proclaim that tyranny is neither fated, nor "written."
The "specialness" accorded Arabs and Muslims have hampered their development. It then can be said that Jyllands-Posten has done them a favor by actually bringing them into the fold of those who may be ridiculed. There is no reason why Islam should be given a pass on offense, no matter how much their prophet is worshiped (and that what this is, really, it's worship of a man, not a god) in their own lands. If Muslim countries wish to pass laws that make doodling Mo a crime, I could care less. But here in the West, we will have none of that. If there are Muslims who wish to live in the West they are welcome, but they'll just have to get used to most of this part of the world not giving two twists about their precious prophet.

Islam strongly condemn idol worship and if there was the picture of Mohammed(pboh) then there was a possibility of Mohammed worship( what u call as a worship of man ). Prophet himself ordered not to make his photo or elso his worship may start , so there is no photo of prophet.
Islam orders to worship for only one God and condemn human worship. The strike is in respect of prophet and not in worship of god.
