Dave Schuler wishes blues legend B.B. King a happy 80th birthday.
Sometimes after Maceo got off work in the afternoon I’d go over to Maceo’s house. We’d sit in his rec room in the basement, talking about nothing in particular, sippin’ bourbon, and listening to B. B. King records.
Oh yeah.

Ironically, I read this post as I was listening to the CD. While I'm not as negative as Jefito about Frey, I had to look at the CD case to see who, as Jefito put it, was doing "lamest impression of Dr. John." Actually, I was wracking my brain trying figure out who Frey was trying to imitate and nothing clicked until I read the review.
It's a nice disc, and Best Buy had it for about $8, but my main problem is that this is at least the second and maybe the third "B.B. & Guests" CD in the last couple of years, though this one seems to be more weighted towards pop/rock guests Still, a coasting B.B. is still better than about 90-95% of the stuff released anymore.
