Before I write this, here is a disclaimer (which by now shouldn't be required, but is):
I have nothing but respect and admiration for our veterans, current soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines and their family.
I couldn't disagree with Cindy Sheehan more and I believe that although she has every right to protest and speak, I have every right to criticize her opinons and rhetoric. Cindy Sheehan has no more right to her opinions than you and I do, and she has no greater right to be listened to.
And neither does Tammy Pruett. The Pruett family has given more of themselves than most other families in this country. They should have our respect and admiration. They do exemplify the best of who we are. But again, their opinions carry no greater weight than a mom whose kids happen to be in college.
Here's a little advice to the Bushies: Just because your opponents have gone out and gotten themselves a military mom to exploit, doesn't mean you have to, also.

Perhaps you are correct, but some sort of response to Cindy is needed. I believe that the only way to counter emotional arguments is with emotional arguments. Unfortunately, today, politics is style over substance.
