Sky News is reporting explosions in three Underground stations in London:
UPDATE: Northern and Victoria train lines have been suspended.
UPDATE II: From Sky:
The AP is saying that so far, no injuries have been reported.
UPDATE III: Here is a good map of the Tube.
Three explosions are reported in three Underground stations, along with a bus near Hackney Street.
UPDATE III: The "dismayed look" may have been instigated by a detonator (some reported gun shots) failing to trip a bomb.
UPDATE IV: London Police say they are not treating this as a "major incident."
UPDATE V:
Hammersmith Line is also suspended.
UPDATE VI: This is looking very amateurish. One person is reported injured as well as some minor damage. It seems as if detonators went off alone or the bombs were very small. I guess the questions are whether this was a botched attack, a copycat operation or something less easily explained, like a poke in the eye. If this was any kind of AQ attack, it's about as pathetic as it can be. If we could plot attacks in the West since bin Laden's fatwa, we would see a peak at September 11 and then a crash. Based on the trend, the next attack might be simultaneous slapping incidents followed in two weeks by a rash of jihadis flipping the bird.
UPDATE VII: There are some reports of sniffer dogs being utilized by hazmat teams and possibly an unexploded bomb. The police are said to be looking for a man near Warren Street with wires protruding from the back of a rucksack or his shirt. There is no confirmation of this yet. Balir is set to make a statement. There are reports of some panic, although pictures aren't showing any carnage or any level of public distress. Most are of the police response.

Tony Blair is making a statement next to Australian PM John Howard. He doesn't look particularly upset, and seems to be treating this with determination, but as more of a nuisance.
UPDATE VIII: Welcome, Instapundit readers. Glenn makes a good point about the conduct of the press in what is still a war, after all:
The preening, point-scoring irresponsibility of the press, which is if anything worse in Britain than in America, is one of the most striking things about this war, and it will be decades before it recovers. If it does.
We certainly shouldn't expect unquestioned fealty from the press, but is it too much to ask for some basic understanding of the situation?
UPDATE IX: Christiane Amanpour is bringing up Iraq with Libby Weiner from ITN, the dolt that Glenn aluded to. Weiner is upset that Blair should have the temerity to call for calm. She did give Howard credit for putting down her Iraq question, but then went on to attempt to refute his answer. More editorial that factual reporting going on now.
UPDATE X: Andrew Ian Dodge is reporting that the bus bomb was identical to that used on Juy 7.
