The Guardian has a detailed report of the attack, including locations and eyewitness accounts. The original confusion in the count of attacks seems to come from the fact that two of the attacks happened between King's Cross and Russell Square and also between Liverpool Street and Aldgate East.

It is evening rush hour in London. Some rails are running but many people are walking out of the city, reminiscent of some scenes from September 11.
