AFI's Greatest Movie Quotes.
The American Film Institute has another list, this time of the "Top 100" movie quotes. There's not much to complain about, except for maybe that anything uttered by Patrick Swayze should by default be left off the list.
For me, a great movie quote is more than just a one-liner; it evokes a scene or general mood and almost always has a story to go with it. Some lines that I would have nominated:
-"You're breasts feel odd."
-"That's because they're real." LA Story
-"I'm having a little chair problem." Topper.
-"Get me the butter." Last Tango in Paris
-"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." The Princess Bride
-"It's a bit nutty." Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
-"I'm Pussy Galore."
-"I must be dreaming." Goldfinger
-"Who are those guys?" Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
-"Did you meet my sister?"
-"Yeah. She tried to sit on my lap while I was standing up." The Big Sleep
-"What are you rebelling against?"
-"Whataya got?" The Wild One
-"It's twue! It's twue!" Blazing Saddles

I saw the original uncut version of Blazing Saddles the day it came out. It was edited and re-released very shortly thereafter and I don't know that I've seen the original version since. The bean-eating scene went on interminably. And there was a follow-up line to the line you quoted. Cleavon Little says “You're sucking on my elbow”.

Yep, and cutting that one line changed the rating from R to PG.
